Welcome & The Prime Directive

Welcome to MindBright. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms of Service. Before we get into the legal specifics, we want to reiterate our Prime Directive: Kids First. Parents' Trust. Always.

Every policy below is designed to protect your child's learning experience and honor the trust you place in us. We use plain English because we respect your time and believe in complete transparency.

Accounts & Usage

Account Creation: You must be at least 18 years old to create a primary parent account on MindBright.

Child Profiles: As the account holder, you are responsible for the profiles you create for your children under your account. MindBright is designed for family use; please do not share your account credentials across multiple households.

Billing & "No-Hassle" Cancellation

Subscription: MindBright operates on a flat fee of $9.99/month after the initial 7-day free trial.

Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription immediately at any time via the Parent Dashboard. There are no hidden menus, forced phone calls, or "dark patterns" to prevent you from leaving.

No-Hassle Refund Policy: We do not trap parents. If you forget to cancel before your 7-day trial ends, or if you genuinely feel you didn't get value from the platform, contact our support team within 14 days of the charge. We offer a generous refund policy because we only want your money if we are helping your child learn.

Content & Conduct

Platform Content: MindBright owns the intellectual property, design, and educational content of the platform.

Respectful Use: Parents and children must use the platform respectfully. This means no attempting to compromise the system's security or injecting inappropriate/malicious text into open-ended writing prompts. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these basic rules of conduct.

Liability & Changes

Limitation of Liability: MindBright is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While we strive for 100% uptime and perfectly bug-free educational content, software isn't perfect. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the platform.

Changes to Terms: If we make significant changes to these terms, we will notify you via the email address associated with your parent account.
